Project Description:Although Custom Home Improvements, Inc. had an existing website, our business model was modified and it was decided that we needed to totally redesign the site to provide much better functionality for our customers. This resulted in a complex set of requirements for the proposed site.
A three phase approach was established. The first phase was to push the business to the web and creating brand recognition for our company. The second phase was to automate all the processes by linking our customer relations management system to the web database, creating sales tracking systems and providing real time reports. The third phase is to link our system to key web resources to gain significant improvements in Search engine positioning. This posed some challenges in our existing business logic.
We partnered with Zallas Technologies because of their expertise in the field of online application development and specifically CRM systems, their involvement with Internet Marketing technologies, and their familiarity with our specific home remodeling industry.

Project Timescale
The initial phase of the CHI project took four months. Due to the success of the site, additional phases were added over the resulting six months which saw improvements in functionality to visitors and admin users of the website.
