“ARTIVIST” is the 1st international Film Festival dedicated to addressing Human Rights, Children's Advocacy, Environmental Preservation, and Animal Rights. Its mission is to strengthen the voice of international activist artists - "Artivists" - while raising public awareness for social global causes.
In the past 3 years, the Annual Artivist Film Festival has screened more than 200 international activist Films from 35 countries. The “Artivist Awards” honors the winning Films of the Annual Artivist Film Festival and the work of outstanding activist celebrities. Past honorees include: Daryl Hannah, Matthew McConaughey, Mira Sorvino, Joaquin Phoenix, James Cromwell, Ed Begley Jr., Tippi Hedren, and Mike Farrell.
During the past 4 years, Artivist has reached millions of people with its public relations campaign and has received renowned international suppor.
