Websites-Database/Ecommerce (Dynamic)

We own an ecommerce website that we want to have redesigned. The site sells electronic or intangible information that is downloaded by our customers.The original designer created the entire site in .php and this has limited in our ability to optimize the site pages for search engines.

In addition to improving our search engine optimization, we also want to improve the user experience by enabling our customers to also purchases tangible products (i.e. books, shirts, caps, etc) and we wish to create a blog community.

We are looking for the following features in the newly redesigned website:

1. Modular design and centralized Admin panel where the all aspects of the website are managed.

2. Install and integrate a new ecommerce shopping cart with feature like those offered by Shop-Script.com. We want the ability to sell both tangible (i.e. hats, books, etc.) and electronic products (i.e. documents, photos, contact information). We also want ability to cross sell our products.

3. Admin must have ability to set prices for categories, subcategories or indiviual products. Admin should also be able to have ability to insert ads and videos into the product profile templates.

4. Search engine friendly url’s are a must. Admin must be able to insert key words into individual and category pages.

5. There must be a language file that can be subsequently translated into different languages for our users.

6. In the store, visitors must create a free profile and login to view product videos and photos. Login procedure should have procedure to prevent spam and improve site security. Admin should have ability to email all site subscribers individually, by category (country, age group, etc).

7. Redesign homepage and integrate our new logo throughout site. Logo will be provided.

8. Install and integrate a blog hosting platform with features like those offered by bloghoster.net. We wish to provide our users the ability to create travel blogs like travelpod.com and similar sites.

9. Visitors who subscribe or create new blog entry should have ability to send links to their friends from their address books in Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail, GMail and Outlook
