Websites-Database/Ecommerce

Flash for Websites, HTML Email Newsletter

PHP,
JAVA Script, Flash, Databa, HTML, DHTML

am looking for someone with the above mentioned skills and has the time available to complete the task. The project has two parts a Job site and then a Networking part. This has to do with all functionality availabe to the user once a member of the site sings into their profile. The first part of the project consists of a job site, basically the idea here is to go to various company sites and scrap the job posting and display it on my site. The users should also be able to filter by various search criteria on the job postings, but when they want to view the job postings or apply the link would simply take the user back to the orignal page (company website). I can provide you with examples to get a better understanding.

The Second part of the project consists of a Social Networking part. this part is accessed only once a user has registered and signed into the profile. Once signed in they will be able to create a profile, upload videos, awards, etc., invite friends, posts jobs, search for members, chat, forum, etc.

The second part of the site was finished by another company, but I have decided not to use there code… I do have screen shots so I can provide a detalied walk through as well.

I am looking into getting this work done asap. The team that will most likely be hired is the team that can finish the first part of the site…which is scrapping job posting from other sites and displaying it on mine. The Social Networking part should be fairly straight forward. The skills need to do this project would be, PHP, Javascript, database, Flash, HTML/DHTML, etc.

    Hey Matt,

I own a Chicago-based offshore development firm and I think we might be a good fit, but I can’t say for sure. We have pretty extensive building CMS’s (both .NET and PHP) but I’d like to learn a bit more about the project.

You probably get 100 calls a week from “Bob’s from Bangalore” but many offshore firms are little more than ’software sweatshops’ that over-promise and under-deliver. Most companies we talk to have gotten burned when going offshore, or are disgruntled to say the least.

We’re not for everyone and we only work with clients that demand high quality and are willing to pay for it. I created a silly blog making fun of the entire outsourcing industry (BoycottSoftwareSweatshops.com) Finding good developers isn’t hard, but finding reliable developers is.

Outsourcing is about high value, not low cost. We don’t take our selves too seriously but are dead serious about what we do. Give me a shout if you think it makes sense to chat.

    Thanks,

    Raza
