General Information and Objectives:
FM Supplies, a farm and ranch supply company, would like to capitalize on the growth of the internet and ecommerce. Our purpose is to create a web presence for FM Supplies that will support the company’s sales and operational objectives. The objectives include:
• Create market presence for FM Supplies on the Internet.
• Be the “go to” website whenever a customer searches the Internet for farm and ranch supplies (top 4-9 in an organic search).
• Additional optimization requirements include other landing pages such as Kei truck sales, BBQ and Fire Pits, Pipe Sales, Trailers, Metal Buildings/Construction, etc.
• Be a resource for consumers searching for ranches or hunting leases located in south, west and the Hill Country of Texas (top 20 in organic search).
• Be a resource for hunters and ranch owners on the most relevant things to do with hunting and ranching. (Social computing including RSS Feeds, Customer Reviews and Blogs)
• Act as a sales tool for FM Supplies sales associates to use while talking to customers about our services or products.
• Act as a prompt to help sales staff up-sell certain items.
• A shopping cart where customers can order farm and ranch supplies online.
