Zallas Technologies Search Engine Optimization Policy suggestion

New SEO policy for your review, guys:

1. All internal JavaScript will be removed from all web pages and put in .JS file(s).

2. All FLASH Elements will be optimized including menus.

3. The entire website will be meta-tagged.

a. 10 keywords will be selected for the homepage and 3 or 4 keywords for each internal page, based on keyword research. Keyword phrases may be used, however individual keywords separated by spaces are preferable.

b. Individual descriptions for each page will be designed which incorporate keywords, and are in line with SEO standards.

c. Individual titles for each will be designed based on the most important 1-3 keywords, and in line with SEO standards.

d. A “summary” meta-tag will be added which can be used for submitting to directories and for search engines that require additional information.

4. Keyword density analysis will be done and to make sure each important keyword appears 3-11% of the time on the webpage. Keywords will be put in “ALT” tags and other elements as required.

5. Important keywords will be put in “H1” tags as close to the top of the page as possible using “CCS Suppression”.

6. Important keywords will be bolded several times on each page.

7. All pages will be renamed (if required) to reflect keywords.

8. All graphical elements will be renamed to reflect keywords.

9. All directories and file names will be renamed to reflect keywords, even if it means appending keyword in naming scheme.

10. In directory scheme, files will be moved as close as possible to the root directory to make them easier for spiders to find.

11. A robots.txt tag will be added. Spiders will be kept out of out of cgi-bin, image directories and any content that cannot be properly optimized.

12. “index,follow” tags will be used on all pages.

13. The site will be validated.

14. Useless and empty tags will be removed.

15. All pages will be 10KB or less.

16. A sitemap will be added to incorporate all pages of the website.

17. Large graphics will be “sliced” to reduce load time.

18. Relevant keywords have their own special optimized page and will be linked to from main pages.

19. A blog will be added to the site.

20. The website will be converted to RSS.

21. An affiliate program will be added to the site with a signup up page and login for affiliates.

22. A forum will be added to the website.

23. Free services will be added to the website.

    What about these:

    1) All web sites in the SEO program should have a dedicated IP
    2) All sites should use the Google Site Map protocols, and we should be submitting the site map to google automatically
    - https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/docs/en/protocol.html
    3) What is #22 - Forum added to the site? Is that the client site? Forums without activity are a negative to Google
    4) Blogs and other applications used for linking programs should not be on our servers. For about $6-8/mo you can find hosting services with dedicated IP’s on many different providers. For under $20/mo, we can find hosting services where we can host up to 15 or 20 small applications that would be unrelated to each other, and not used for back links to each other.
